Although it is bittersweet that summer is slowly coming to a close, the beautiful fall collections that are starting to roll in definitely soften the blow of the loss of our ability to play dead on a lawn chair all day soaking up the rays. So what are some of this coming season’s must haves in your closet?
Blazers. Although the classic Navy, Black, or Tan are great, colorful blazers really make a statement. J. Crew offers an amazing “Hacking Jacket” that would be great with jeans and riding boots for the fall.
Last season it was the crop tops that popped up all over the fashion blogs and spread through campus like wildfire. Blouses are a little bit more professional, but still cute nonetheless. A classic blouse made wearable for all ages is the Silk Blythe Blouse. My personal favorite is the extravagant green, but colors like white and alabaster are perfect for the colorful pants that J. Crew has implemented for this season.
Last but not least, a staple dress to have this season is a quarter-length sleeved dress. Perfect for the cooler weather, these are also very stylish. I am a huge fan of the Maise dress.
