If you’re in the market for a new laptop in the near future, this is an article for you. Both PC and Mac products have updates in the near future which could persuade you to wait a little while to buy a new machine. As you know, many people are worried about buying tech products since technology is advancing so quickly. With that being said, these new products will be around go a while and are possibly worth the wait.
Microsoft is on its way to introducing Window 8. This system will be integrated to all new products. This 
update is one of the largest ones Microsoft has created. The Windows 8 operating system will have touch screen capabilities. It is very likely you will be able to upgrade from W7 to W8, but the touch screen capabilities will not be able to be utilized. Apple will also be releasing its new operating system. Mountain Lion will be a great update for Mac users and it will be interesting to see if Windows 8 can compete with it.
The final update I would like to discuss comes from Intel. The new “Ivy Bridge” Intel processors will be used by both PCs and Macs. This should be released this summer.
