Hello to all the Proper people out there, and to those who respect the proper life. My name is Tyler Lindquist.
I’ve grown up one way and one way only, the proper way. Some say I drink like an Irishman, dance like a suave Latino, and party like an Australian in the outback. That is a classic misconception. If you really know me, you know I’m as American as it gets, and I love this god damn country because it’s simply the best place to live on earth. To be more specific, I am from the small but notorious town west of Chicago called Batavia.
The town is home to some of the most famous legends from their respective colleges around the country. In
Batavia, we like to “get after it”, and drink extravagantly. Nicknamed “Fratavia”, the level of raging that happens in my town is comparable to an end of the world party at the playboy mansion. While some of my friends at college do not like going home, I love it. In a popular quote heard by Batavians is, “I have slowed down on my drinking since summer began”. To that statement Fratavians simply chuckle and respond, “mine has steadily increased”.
To close this short biography, I’d like to end with one simple statement that describes me better than anything else. In life, there are unfortunately some guys that just don’t get it. Whether it’s in regards to the proper life, women, money, partying, style, or class, there is always some people who get it and some who don’t. What separates a regular guy from a true gent is whether they get it or not. I am a guy who gets it.
